We are glad to announce an ninth podcast called “CMLXIII”, showcasing artists’ styles and explorations. Introducing Michigan native No Author, who got his start producing music while attending the University of Michigan, after which he co-founded the label “none/such” and released his first cassette “POST FASHION.” Prior to his involvement in none/such, Sam was a member of the Michigan Electronic Music Collective (MEMCO) which he credits fully for exposing him to the range of electronic music produced historically in Detroit in Ann Arbor. No Author is a no-holds-barred industrial, techno, and experimental project dedicated to producing sounds that display a biting coldness with hints of composed and dreary synths and melodies. Including everything from noise, to experimental, to hard-hitting dancefloor-oriented techno, No Author is set up for a big year, with a string of compilation releases and a second techno project on the way. His music works on the dance-floor like a factory line, which holds emotions and shapes.
